Violence in the media sphere remains taboo. When it is discussed, it is either sensationalized or spoken about so cautiously that institutions feel untouched. Russia still has no law defining sexual harassment at work. Which means there are no formal protection mechanisms; success depends entirely on public resonance.
Noise has intensified. Algorithms, TikTok dramas, political crises push serious topics aside — anything that can’t hook attention in three seconds loses the battle. We live in a world where stories of violence lose in the competition for attention. No one wants responsibility.
